Probably right but I only get to about 1 or 2 away a season and never been to Everton, so thought a few beers and night out with the mickeys might be fun

Decent pubs/ areas in Liverpool change a lot. Generally stay in the centre and do a pub crawl and see what you like is my advice. I would tend to stay on the hope street/ concert square side of town rather than the cavern quarter which can be more local. That said I've never had any bother.

If you cant find anything down by the dock (and id be surprised as they think they're posh down there) then head into town, you'll be guaranteed to find a pub with it on somewhere. all else fails walkabout on concert square will have it on and loads of bars around that way.
